In 2018, QSC AG spun off its telecommunications business into a wholly-owned subsidiary, Plusnet GmbH. QSC's well-known SIP Trunk IPfonie Extended will only be available until the end of 2019. Plusnet's IPfonie Extended SIP Trunk is now available.
The IPfonie Extended SIP trunk from Plusnet is a SIP trunk with user authentication. You have received information about UserID, UserName and UserPassword, whereas the naming may differ, or you might have only received UserName and -password. In this case, UserID and UserName are identical.
SwyxWare: The IPfonie Extended SIP trunk from Plusnet can be used from SwyxWare 2011R2 on.
SwyxON: The IPfonie Extended SIP trunk from Plusnet is suitable for central connection in the data center.
During creation of the SIP Trunkgroup, profile 'Plusnet IPfonie (DE)' must be selected. If the profile is not included in the corresponding list, you can download the required CustomProviderProfiles.config for SwyxWare at the end of this article. For more information about using this file, see Configuration and Adaptation of SIP Providers via Provider Profiles (kb3436).
No additional configuration is necessary after creating the configuration with the configuration wizard.
