Information und configuration hints for SIP provider SFR (France).


General information

A SIP trunk from SFR (FR) can only be used in combination with an internet access from SFR. The customer network therfore usually is within the SFR network.

The SIP communication between the SFR SIP proxies and the SwyxWare has to be established through port 5060. Since the SwyxWare per default uses port 65002 to communicate with a SIP provider, it is necessary to install the appropriate service (LinkMgr) on a separated server and to change the SIP port accordingly.

SFR (FR) is offering registerless SIP trunks. This means that the authentication is based on the public IP address of the LinkMgr server. Therefore, you need a static, public IP address from SFR assigned to the LinkMgr server.

SFR is operating with a number of different servers. Therefore it is not possible to preconfigure the Proxy Server in the "SIP" tab of the Trunkgroup Properties dialog. In this field, please enter the IP address that SFR has named you.

Important: From SwyxWare2015R5 on, the provider profile for SFR (FR) is available in the list of provider profiles and the CustomProviderProfiles.config is no longer necessary.

During creation of the SIP Trunkgroup, the profile 'SFR (FR)' has to be selected.
