The client supports the RIM v7.0.x devices. A list with tested devices is provided by the KB article

This client does not support former RIM versions like RIM v6.x, RIM v5.x or RIM v4.x. For these devices please continue to use SwyxIt! Mobile v7.10, v7.01 resp. v7.00 which still can be downloaded from the Swyx Download area as well.
