Summary

Beginning with SwyxWare Essential Version 6.10 the user files and system files are no longer stored in the file system. They will be uploaded in the SwyxWare database too. Before updating SwyxWare to version 6.10 please check the existing database using CheckDBUpdate.exe.

The tool sums up the size of the existing SwyxWare database and the size of all SwyxWare users data and system data. It will provide You with a recommendation about the database server to use for the updated version. Actually uncompressed files are summed up. This means that during an update the estimated size will be smaller (up to 20%) depending on the type of files.

ATTENTION: Only MSDE 2000 and Microsoft SQL 2000 Server SP4 will be checked.

The programm gives You an overview about the actually used memory and recommends a database server. Please follow the recommendation and install the requested database befor updating SwyxWare to version 6.10.
