Summary

To assist our partners in understanding the various software releases from Swyx, this Knowledge Base article defines the key components of the different types of releases e.g. Major, Minor, Maintenance, etc.

Note
To further clarify the type of software release from Swyx, some new terminology has been introduced and will be implemented going forward with version 6.x and later versions of SwyxWare.
For example: 'Hotfix' is now known as 'Maintenance Pack'
So, for example, you would see v6.00 Maintenance Pack 2 instead of v6.00 Hotfix 2.
