SwyxServer delivers voice mails to the intended recipient via the SMTP protocol. The Email is transmitted to the mailserver configured in SwyxWare Administration. If there'a a problem during transmission, e.g. if the SMTP server is not available, SwyxServer tries again every 30 minutes. If the mail could not be delivered in the last 2 days, SwyxServer sends a warning email to the mail sender. After 7 days SwyxServer gives up trying and generates the above mentioned event log entry. Another reason for this entry is a permanent negative completion reply from the SMTP-Server (5xx message).

Check if

  • the correct SMTP server is configured in SwyxWare-Administration
  • the user who should receive the mail is using the correct email address
  • the mailserver is up and running and listen for SMTP
  • the mailserver allows receiving and delivering mails for the intended recipient
  • the mailserver allows receiving mails from the configured sender.
