The latest version of the Swyx communication solution offers enhancements for users of Microsoft Teams and Yealink phones
The new version 12.40 of the Swyx communication solution is now available. Among other things, it offers further improved integration capabilities with Microsoft Teams, enabling users to combine the best of both product worlds into a comprehensive solution. For version 12.40, Swyx has further improved presence synchronization. In meetings or calls via Microsoft Teams, the Swyx Client now automatically assumes the status "Busy". This means that call forwarding can now be set up even more easily and comprehensively using Swyx Call Routing - regardless of whether a call is made via the Swyx Client or with Microsoft Teams.
Optimal integration of Yealink phones
There are also improvements for the use of Yealink telephones. The Swyx solution now supports Yealink desktop phones T53, T53W, T54W and T57W, so users can rely on optimal interoperability. In addition, the status signaling and caller ID suppression capabilities of Yealink phones have been enhanced. In addition, the queue management tool VisualGroups now fully supports Yealink phones of the T4 and T5 product families.
Improved visibility and Messenger
Swyx Messenger also offers new features. Enhanced pop-up settings provide better visibility of the Messenger window for incoming messages. Images can now be viewed in full screen mode directly from the chat and multimedia files can be played directly. In addition, users can now search for contacts in lists more conveniently.
