Headsets
Many headsets are connected to a QuickDisConnect jack (also referenced as QD jack). The QuickDisConnect jack allows you to quickly and simply disconnect a connection if, for example, you would like to leave the headset on when you leave the room. The active line remains activated and is not put on hold.
If the headset has a QuickDisConnect jack, you will need an additional cable for the connection to the PC or ip-phone, please see table 2.

Connects headsets which support DHSG/EHS (electronic hook switching) with SwyxPhones to be able to accept an call directly at the wireless headset. At SwyxPhones L420s/L440/L520s/L540 an "Acoustic Adapter" needs to be installed in addition into an option-bay below the phone. SwyxPhones L640/L660/L680 already include DHSG support, therefore no Acoustic Adapter is required. For other SwyxPhone models DHSG is not possible, here you can just use a normal RJ11 cable but then must accept the call at the SwyxPhone itself.
