The new functionality enables SwyxIt! softphone users to draw on all types of web-based information such as Google Maps, stock market information or RSS news feeds to improve their interactions with their callers. The application works by displaying relevant web pages as part of the user’s softphone and can use existing customer data to determine what information is ‘popped’ on-screen. The technology is aimed in particular at SMEs that have customer services, help-desk or a call centre operation.
</p>
