Hosted IP Telephony

Business Overview

One of the most promising market opportunities for existing and emerging service providers is to replace the traditional customer premise equipment (CPE) based enterprise PBX business with a ‘hosted telephony’ service.

Swyx recognises that service providers may wish to operate different business models when offering a hosted telephony service. For this reason Hosted SwyxWare Product is aimed at Service Providers who want to offer a hosted telephony service from their own data premises, while Hosted SwyxWare Service enables SPs to focus more on selling the service and managing customer relationships without having to make investments, for example, in infrastructure and technical resources.

Technical Overview

Hosted SwyxWare is a ‘next generation’ variant of Swyx’s mature SwyxWare product with all the features, maturity, flexibility, and high level of usability that thousands of enterprise customers already benefit from in a Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) environment.  Hosted SwyxWare (HSW) runs on ‘Virtual-PBXs’ (V-PBXs) to provide customised IP-PBX services to meet the needs of your business customers. And your customers can choose from an extensive choice of telephone/audio devices including IP desk-phones, DECT phones, SIP phones, USB headsets and handsets, and an innovative PC-based soft-phone that is easy to use and easy to implement.
