SwyxIt! Mobile now available on App Store and Android Market

Swyx, a market-leading vendor of Unified Communications (UC) for SMEs now provides its customers with an application for iPhone and Android smartphones.
With the new "SwyxIt! Mobile" app, SwyxWare users can provide a single contact number and receive and make calls via the SwyxIt! soft client on their iPhone or Android device. Each contact also displays detailed information such as status, phone numbers, e-mail address and/or picture.
Thanks to the "Fast Dial" function, call set-up is 50% faster because the number is identified before the actual call setup via the IP connection to the server.
App with Single Number concept - connect via GPRS, 3G or WiFi
SwyxIt! Mobile is based on a GPRS, 3G or WiFi connection to the central Swyx server. After registration, users have full access to global and personal phone books as well as their individual call and redial lists.
Presence information can also be accessed, showing the current status of other colleagues and they can also update their own status via their smartphones. All outgoing and incoming calls use a single number concept so SwyxIt! Mobile users can be reached using just one number.
The prerequisite for using SwyxIt! Mobile is SwyxWare 2011 R2 with SwyxWebAccess 2011 R2 and corresponding SwyxMobile licences. The SwyxIt! Mobile is available now in Apple's App Store and the Android Market.
