Swyx leading in key IP telephony growth segment in Germany
The MZA analysis institute confirms Swyx's market leadership in the area of desktop IP telephony for organisations with 11 to 50 users
London, 26.10.2010 - Swyx remains the German market leader in the area of desktop IP telephony for organisations with 11 to 50 users in the first half of 2010. The British market research institute MZA confirms this fact in its current study "The Global Telecommunications Market". This follows four consecutive years of Swyx achieving first place in the segment of enterprises deploying IP desktop on systems of 11 to 50 extensions, having beaten domestic market competitors such as Siemens, Avaya and Cisco in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Swyx currently occupies a market share of 27 percent in the 11 to 50 IP extensions market in Germany. According to MZA experts, the market for IP technology will experience continued growth in the coming years. The analysis institute sees Germany as the largest market for IP telephony in this segment in Western Europe, representing 28 percent of IP desktop deployments in 2010.
"The results of the MZA study are supported by numerous companies in a wide range of areas where our communications solution SwyxWare has become an indispensable part of everyday business operations. The study shows that our products provide a perfect fit for the needs of small and mid-sized enterprises", says Dr. Ralf Ebbinghaus, Vice President of Distribution and Marketing at Swyx. "With SwyxWare, we give companies a future-proof telephony solution that allows them to increase their productivity and optimise their business processes in a very short amount of time."
This year as well, Swyx has been able to secure numerous prominent customer projects – such as the World Climate Summit, the Biathlon World Cup, the Spanish Riding School and the publishing house Deutscher Taschenbuch Verlag – which has been an opportunity to continue the company's growth. Recently, the unified communications specialist has begun to meet its customers' special requirements in a new way with innovative offers for SMEs such as the Swyx Collaboration Pack with integrated web conference technology, and solutions for seamless iPhone integration. The company's sustained growth is also having an impact on the development of its personnel resources: Swyx is currently seeking staff for channel support. In addition, there are vacancies in the areas of marketing and development. You can find detailed information about the positions currently available at http://www.swyx.com.
