Spanish Riding School backs the right horse with Swyx
SwyxWare unified communications improves customer service and handling of ticket orders
London, 15.06.2010 - The Spanish Riding School is one of Austria’s most significant cultural institutions, which has existed for over 430 years and continues to cultivate classical equitation in the Renaissance tradition of the haute école. In order to handle the daily call volume in the ticket centre more efficiently and optimise customer service, the Spanish Riding School decided to implement a modern IP based communication solution.
“Many of the incoming calls the customer service centre receives every day come from abroad. One of the most important requirements of the new solution was for extended call routing, to automatically send incoming calls to relevant employees who could speak the appropriate language,” explains Georg Kriechbaum, managing director of Data-Way IT-Consulting GmbH.
Prior to the implementation of SwyxWare the Spanish Riding School was using a conventional telecommunication system that had reached the end of its lifecycle. The old system had neither phone number recognition on incoming calls nor phone number transmission on outgoing calls.
Before selecting SwyxWare, the Spanish Riding School evaluated IP telephony solutions from several well-known vendors. SwyxWare demonstrated the best results during the evaluation process through the software’s high flexibility, intuitive usability and outstanding price/performance. The simple installation and administration of SwyxWare was another key factor, with the implementation of the new system taking less than a day. With the SwyxWare solution in place, configurations and maintenance can now be conducted internally without the need for expensive telecommunication technicians. Furthermore, SwyxWare’s intelligent call routing function means every caller – whether from Austria, USA or Italy – will be welcomed in their local language and be forwarded to an employee who has the appropriate language skills. Through the integrated fax function every employee has his own fax number and can process faxed orders quickly and efficiently. With SwyxMobile the Spanish Riding School is also able to use all the telephone features of SwyxWare on their mobile phones, such as status information or recording calls.
